Tasting Notes
Opens with a perfumed nose of sweet clover and lemongrass, balanced by a fruit-filled palate of vibrant lemon, ripe stone fruit and a touch of tropical papaya. Equal parts fresh acidity and rich mouthfeel.

Vineyard Notes
We selected the fruit for this vintage from a handful of vineyards that span the length of Napa Valley, north to south, as well as a cool-climate vineyard in Sonoma. Warmer sites in Calistoga are balanced by cooler sites in Carneros, creating greater depth and complexity in the wine. The cooler vines ripen slowly, preserving the natural acidity of the Sauvignon Blanc grape and adding fresh fruit flavor, while the warmer sites lend layers of stone fruit and tropical notes to the final wine. Production Notes
The 2016 vintage in Napa Valley has been widely lauded as exceptional in quality, with moderate yields. An early bud break was followed by a cooler growing season, with few heat spikes in the summer. The lengthy growing season allowed the grapes more time on the vine to ripen evenly. Slightly lower yields translated to more concentrated flavor in the grape clusters and crisp, fresh flavor in the glass.
Winemaker Notes
Fermented and aged in small neutral oak and stainless steel barrels, the wine was aged sur lie for 6 months. A small percentage of new oak provided a hint of vanilla and spice on the finish, while weekly stirring of the lees created a round, mouth-filling texture.
